Clinical Hyperbaric Medicine

Clinical Hyperbaric Medicine is a small but growing medical specialty that uses the benefits of hyperbaric oxygenation
to treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Properly administered by trained personnel hyperbaric oxygenation
is used to treat common conditions, such as:
- Problem healing wounds
- Necrotizing infections
- Compromised
flaps and grafts
- Carbon Monoxide poisoning
In addition, there are numerous “off-label”
uses of hyperbaric oxygen – treatment of symptoms of cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, etc. – that will be explored.
