UHMS v. ACHMUHMS and the ACHM recently exchanged communication about the relocation
of the UHMS ASM to Las Vegas. The UHMS accused the ACHM of capitalizing on the "cancellation" to boost attendance at
their annual meeting. The ACHM has posted their response on their website (www.achm.org). UHMS posted the original announcement of the change in venue on their website (www.uhms.org) I belong to both organizations, so will not comment. You decide!

UHMS Annual Scientific Meeting moves to Las Vegas!The UHMS has decided to move the 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Las Vegas,
Nevada. As of right now the dates remain the same - June 25 thru 27th. The move was due to safety concerns related
to violence in the border towns and the potential for violence targeting Americans.
